A high Siemens government has warned that chaos over Brexit is wrecking the United Kingdom’s name as a business place and turning it into a “laughing stock.”
“Enough is enough. We all are running out of patience,” Juergen Maier, the CEO of Siemens UK, told lawmakers in a letter published on Monday in politico.
Maier aforesaid that continued uncertainty over Brexit has made it tough to take a position within the UK, where the worldwide engineering giants employs 15,000 folks and generates annual sales of roughly £5 billion ($6.6 billion).
The CEO mentioned in the letter that he will “no longer defend” the actions of parliament to his board, “making it arduous to win support for finely balanced investment decisions” that affects UK jobs and competitiveness.
